ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS
CAUTION
The Directorate has no agents or sub leasing offices and takes
no responsibility for their actions, except approved Study Centres,
which have been listed in this prospectus. Applications received
through unrecognised sponsors will be summarily rejected.
CHANGE OF ADDRESS
Any change in the address of the students should be intimated to
the Directorate with a fee of Rs. 100/- by means of Demand Draft. No
change of address will be entertained once the students receive
their examination hall ticket.
Change of Name - Rs. 100/- with relevant documents as proof of
change of name.
No responsibility will be taken by the Directorate of Distance
Education for missing correspondence due to change of address. The
candidates will have to make their own arrangements with the postal
authorities or any other arrangement for redirection of the letters
to their changed address.
If the students lose the Study Material provided to them they can
procure another copy/ set by paying a fixed price as decided by
KUDDE from time to time.
If a candidate desires to change the examination centre allotted
to him/ her, he/ she will have to do so by paying a Transfer of Exam
Centre fee of Rs. 200/-. This facility will be available only upto
three months prior to the exams and the KUDDE reserves the right to
consider or reject the request for transfer of exam centres.
The KUDDE will charge a nominal fee for providing practical records
and assignment books to the students.
The DDE will charge a fee of Rs. 200/- for the issue of duplicate
Admission/ Registration/ Enrollment card.
LIBRARY FACILITIES
Such of the external candidates who are desirous of availing
themselves of the Library facilities will be permitted to make use
of the University Library on payment of Rs. 100/- (D.D. payable to
Finance Officer, Kuvempu University) for the course in the
University Library. However, no books will be issued to them for use
outside the Library. Limited accommodation can be considered in the
hostels for short duration for desirous candidates.
TRANSFER CERTIFICATE
Transfer Certificate is not required for admission to any of the
courses. The Directorate also will not issue Transfer Certificate at
the time of completion of the course. However, for Lateral Entry a
migration or transfer certificate will be required from such
students.
STUDENTS SUPPORT SERVICES
The DDE has introduced IVRS -24 x 7 a unique and one of its kind
of Student Support Service provided for accessibility of
information round the clock through out the year. Students are
advised to access this service on the following telephone numbers :
