ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS
GRADUATE COURSES
B.A. / B.Com. / B.B.M. / B.Sc.

1. |
(i) Admission to B.A./B.Com./B.B.M.
are on the basis of students those have passed either Pre
University or 12th Standard or equalent.
(ii) For B.Sc., candidates should have completed Science PUC
or 10+2 or equalent science course.
(iii) Candidates who have passed ITI/JOC (vocational course at
any of the recognised institutes within Karnataka are eligible
for admission to B.A., B.Com., BBM and B.Sc. |

2. |
Wherever specified the P.G.
Diploma and graduate Diplomas will be of the duration of one
year or as mentioned in the course details. |
PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION UNDER DISTANCE EDUCATION STREAM

1. |
The Application Form and
Prospectus can be obtained from the Director, Directorate of
Distance Education, Kuvempu University, Shankaraghatta - 577
451, either by post or in person or from the Approved Study
Centres on payment of the required fees. |

2. |
The filled-in application should
be submitted to the Directorate on or before the last date
specified in the admission notification. |
PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION THROUGH STUDY
CENTRES
(For candidates applying
through the Study Centres only)

1. |
The candidates can collect the
application and prospectus from the Study Centres by paying
the prescribed fee. |
|
|
|
|
2. |
The admission confirmation,
Registration card duly signed by the Director and course
materials will be issued by the Director, Directorate of
Distance Education directly/ through study centre. |
|
|
|
|
3. |
The candidate should write their

Name |
|
(ii) |
Application Number |
|
(iii) |
Name of
the course and name of the Study Centre on the reverse
of the demand draft. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
Any fee paid by the
candidate shall not be refunded under any circumstances. |
IMPORTANT
|
(a) |
The candidates have to study as
per syllabus provided to them. |
|
|
|
|
(b) |
The examination will be
conducted during June / July every year. |
|
|
|
|
(c) |
The Practical exams wherever
applicable will be held in April/ May. |
|
|
|
|
(d) |
A candidate is permitted to
register for M.Sc./LL.M. Final examination irrespective of the
number of papers failed at the previous theory exam. |

|
|
|
(e) |
Study material provided is only
to guide and help the students in the concerned subject.
Students are advised to make use of reference books for which
the list of books is provided along with Syllabus. |

|
|
(f) |
The candidates will have to
study 4 papers for each year for certain courses. |
|
|
|
|
(g) |
No refund of fees shall be made
after admission is confirmed. |
